Cousin Cole's tracks, including remixes of "Crank Dat Soulja Boy" and "Black Betty," are played regularly by some of the top DJs in the world: Diplo, Optimo, Sinden, Todd Terje, Cosmo Baker, Scottie B, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, and DJ AM. His biggest track so far, Cousin Cole's "Soulja Boy" remix has gotten primetime airplay by Hot 97 in NYC and Power 106 in LA and is played before Toronto Raptors basketball games.
Cousin Cole also runs Flagrant Fowl records with his partner Pocketknife. They recently released their indie/folk mix CD, "Tambourine Dream," featuring all exclusive remixes of songs from the likes of Joanna Newsome, Bruce Springsteen, Devendra Banhart, and Neil Young. "Tambourine Dream" has made fans from across the musical spectrum, from Spank Rock to Todd Terje to DJ Ravin of Buddha Bar fame.
As a DJ Cousin Cole is known for wide ranging sets with a strong Baltimore Club influence. His 2007 live mix for Discobelle was highly praised across the internet.
Cousin Cole is currently working on several official indie rock remixes, creating a follow up to Tambourine Dream, making beats for high profile rap artists, and preparing the next release on Flagrant Fowl, the "Chicken Moose Rhino Monkey" EP, complete with this music video.Director: Eli Stonberg and Drew Daly
